Certification Isn’t the Finish Line

It’s tempting to view ISO certification or a CMMI appraisal as the final objective. But organizations
that get the most value from these frameworks see them differently. Certification is simply a
milestone.

The real value comes from the operational discipline that follows.

Companies with mature management systems typically notice a few long-term benefits:

● Easier onboarding for new employees

● Greater consistency in service delivery

Those advantages rarely show up overnight. They develop gradually as the system becomes
part of the organization’s culture
